Laura Galindo
This week's spotlight falls on another long-time student turned instructor, 16 year old Laura Galindo, who may just be the best example of hard work paying off that we have seen at The Studio thus far. Laura is well loved by all of our students, her bosses, and her coworkers. In fact, when studio artist and teacher Lindsay overheard a discussion about this blog post, she interrupted to say, "Laura? I LOVE Laura. You can quote me on that right now." When Laura first started at

Congrats Grads!
With graduation day quickly approaching, on Tuesday night we opened our doors and welcomed a great group of seniors into our barn to decorate their graduation caps. Some crafty materials, friends, music, and of course home baked cookies were all they needed to make it a special night. We were so happy that the first floor, basement, and lofts were full of seniors. To end the night we captured the fun with some photos in front of our makeshift photo booth. We can't wait to rep

Triple the Kids, Triple the Fun!
With two birthday parties and lots of preparation for the ColorFest, we have had a very busy and exciting weekend at The Studio. On Saturday, we had the pleasure of throwing a 7th birthday party for triplets Ashley, Christian, and Zachary. Together, they planned a party with 33 friends and three awesome activities. We split the group of kids into three, and ran the party through rotations so that everyone would get the chance to try everything. One station was downstairs with

Seven years of creating, learning, and teaching at The Studio have allowed Lindsay to strengthen her artistic skills and spark a passion that she will carry throughout her life. Lindsay will be entering her freshman year of college at Coastal Carolina University this fall, and plans to major in marine

Pottery camps give your kids the opportunity to learn both hand-building techniques

Meet the Interns
We're always over the moon excited to welcome new artists into The Studio to create, share, and blossom alongside us. A huge part of what makes co-owners Christine and Priscilla so passionate about what they do every day is not only teaching the skills they have personally acquired, but also leaving impactful impressions on young adults who are in the process of navigating through their career paths. A program which allows Christine and Priscilla to do just that is the intern
