Skill Level: Beginners or New to the Studio (Adults)

Duration and Frequency: 2 hours, weekly at your chosen time slot. Attend 8 sessions of the 10-week window to suit your schedule.

Our 8-week introductory program, offered across a 10-week window to give you the flexibility to work around your schedule. Enroll in a weekly time slot and attend any 8 of the 10 weeks.

Our introductory course focuses on building a strong foundation in wheel throwing while helping you get acquainted with The Studio. You will be introduced to the anatomy of the wheel and proper setup, and learn the basics of wedging, centering, opening, and pulling walls to create a cylinder, the foundation for most wheel-thrown forms.

Upon completing the eight-week introductory course, students will have been taught all the foundational skills necessary to create vessels on the wheel.

How does the Fall Flex course work?

  • The program runs for 10 weeks, but you only need to come to 8, giving you two weeks of built-in flexibility for travel or anything else that comes up.

  • Attend the same day and time each week, your spot is yours for the whole session.

  • You can miss up to 2 weeks, but please keep absences non-consecutive so your projects stay on track.

  • Just let us know which two weeks you plan to skip before the course begins so we can plan accordingly.

MATERIALS AND FEES 

  • Clay is included within the class fees

  • Firing fees are extra, include glazes, and will be charged according to our firing fee schedule.

BILLING AND CANCELLATION

  • Payment is due in full at registration and is non-refundable once you've enrolled. This class requires a minimum commitment of the course term, we do not offer partial refunds or early withdrawals.
