Through slowing down and working with a variety of materials, we will build a strong foundation in drawing together; covering sketching, positive and negative space, line weight, contour, gesture, composition, value etc.
This class invites you to explore mark-making, one of the oldest forms of human communication.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Mary Luce was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she studied Fine Arts, majoring in painting and drawing. After a 30-year career as a graphic artist, she moved to the United States two and a half years ago and returned to her true love of drawing.

To cancel for a given month, notice must be received in writing at admin@thestudioffld.com no later than the 25th of the prior month; future installments will be cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

Class fees are calculated based on the remaining classes in the semester (including holiday closures) and can be paid in monthly installments.

Makeup classes are not available for missed sessions due to scheduling constraints.

If you choose the payment plan, your installment will be charged on the 1st of each month.

To cancel before the end of the semester, please notify us in writing by the 25th of the month prior, your cancellation will take effect the following month.

Because installments are evenly divided, cancelling before the end of the semester may create a small difference between what you've paid and the classes received. Any variance will be refunded or charged at cancellation.
