This open-level pottery class covers the fundamentals of working on the wheel, from wedging clay to throwing and finishing beautiful, functional pieces of art. Students build foundational wheel-throwing skills while developing their own artistic style, working at their own pace in a supportive studio environment.
A new project is introduced each month. Students may join mid-month, projects will be adjusted to fit the time available.
Cleanup must be completed within class time, and students may be asked to remain until cleanup is finished.

To cancel for a given month, notice must be received in writing no later than the 25th of the prior month; future installments will be cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

Firing fees are included for standard-sized pieces.

Oversized pieces (10+ inches total, calculated by adding the two largest dimensions) will incur additional firing fees, per the firing fee chart.
BILLING AND CANCELLATION

Class fees are calculated based on the remaining classes in the semester (including holiday closures) and can be paid in monthly installments.

Makeup classes are not available for missed sessions due to scheduling constraints.

If you choose the monthly payment plan, your installment will be charged on the 1st of each month.

To cancel before the end of the semester, please notify us in writing by the 25th of the month prior, your cancellation will take effect the following month.

Because installments are evenly divided, cancelling before the end of the semester may create a small difference between what you've paid and the classes received. Any variance will be refunded or charged at cancellation.
